TRY The TRI Program is an educational and scientific skill development initiative of Terumo, designed to apply practical, clinically oriented learning approach in Transradial Intervention.

The program features experienced transradial operators at an identified Transradial Center of Excellence, and focuses on teaching basic and advanced techniques in transradial angiography and to the fraternity interventional cardiologist .

Procedural steps to perform Shockwave IVL

The IVL Catheter is delivered across a calcified lesion over an 0.014″ wire and the integrated balloon is expanded to 4atm to facilitate efficient energy transfer.

The waves create a localized field effect that travels through soft vascular tissue, selectively cracking intimal and medial calcium within the vessel wall.

The IVL Catheter is delivered across a calcified lesion over an 0.014″ wire and the integrated balloon is expanded to 4atm to facilitate efficient energy transfer.

After calcium modification, the integrated balloon may subsequently be used to dilate the lesion at low pressure in order to maximize luminal gain.
