Ultra High Pressure Plaque Modification Device

OVERVIEW

OPN NC is a unique Swiss made CE Marked Plaque Modification Device designed to perform in all complex lesions at Ultra-High Pressures. OPN NC utilizes Ultra-High Pressures to cause Calcium fracture or oppose Calcium to arterial wall.OPN NC is designed with a dual layer technology to withstand Ultra-High Pressures which leads to uniform expansion even at pressures as high as 45 Bars.

DESIGNED TO PERFORM IN ALL COMPLEX LESION SUBSETS

LINEAR COMPLIANCE AND UNIFORM EXPANSION

OPN NC grows less than 10 % until the Rated Burst Pressure of 35 Bars

OPN NC has a Uniform Expansion at pressure of 45 Bars as well, with no Dog Boning seen

OPN NC causes minimal perforations and no edge dissections

INDICATIONS FOR USE

For Plaque Modification in moderate to severely calcified lesions

In combination with Rotablation for large vessel diameters

TIPS AND TRICKS: REMEMBER WHILE USING OPN NC

Avoid Polymer Sleeve wires and Use Extra Support Guidewires for accessing the lesions

For Pre Dilatation /treatment of DES ISR use 0.5 mm lesser diameter balloon than the Reference Vessel Diameter

For Post Dilatation 1:1 Balloon to Vessel ratio is recommended

Slow increment of pressures ( above 20 atm, increase progressively , approx. 5 atm/ 10-20 sec) for adequate luminal gain

Allow Balloon “to work/ deploy”(slight decrease in pressure due to expansion of the balloon) before increasing the pressure

Remember to De-air the Balloon and choose the correct size for optimal results at Ultra High Pressures.
